Regional asthma management AND prevention

Regional Asthma Management and Prevention (RAMP) brings together diverse partners to join forces in reducing the burden of asthma. RAMP was awarded a five-year grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to serve as a Center of Excellence in the Elimination of Disparities in asthma, primarily to implement a comprehensive model of asthma management and prevention in order to eliminate asthma disparities among African Americans and Latinos.

To maximize its effectiveness, RAMP hired Your Message Media to conduct a comprehensive communications capacity and needs assessment and develop a comprehensive communications plan. YMM then worked closely with RAMP to develop a full range of new communications tools, including a new logo and branding, revamped website, new agency brochure, new messaging guidelines, and a new asthma briefing kit for RAMP allies. YMM also conducted intensive on-camera spokesperson training to help maximize RAMP’s impact in regional, state, national and online media.
